New Mexico just adopted some of the strongest oil & gas cleanup protections in the country. The Oil Conservation Commission voted today to modernize outdated rules so oil and gas corporations – not the public – are responsible for cleaning up the wells they drill. This is a major step forward for protecting our water, our communities, and our future.
